Not Quiet Dead
Exhibition Gallery Ufünunfvierzig, 27/06-04/07
Luzy Dreams was invited to participate at this group exhibition.
Our contribution was decompose / recompose an interactive, kinetic, audiovisual Installation.
In a earth filled black box lies a fur object, it could be dead, but also alive, sounds of nature, wind, insects and creaking sounds generate an atmosphere of a dead animal lying in the dirt of the the woods.
The fur object is videomapped, the rapidly moving patterns projected on the fur gives the allusion that the fur is decomposing and reminds one of maggots eating an carcass from inside out.
The viewer can turn on a button wich triggers a mechanism that brings movement to the fur, the sounds the viewer produce with voice, clapping or otherwise manipulates the pattern sizes and movement speed.
Setup
